UX/UI for web
Icon Records is a web design that focuses on classic, iconic artists, their journeys, and of course, their music. The primary audience would be middle-aged that grew up listening to this kind of music. While the secondary would be the younger generation, such as Gen Z, who are interested in knowing more about the artists that their parents grew up on.

Keeping in mind the user, when transferring from a web first design, the larger body copies had to be reduced or broken up, so it wouldn’t be overwhelming for them.
The collage style of ICONS magazine and Icon Records came from the cover of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and the artist who designed it: Robert Fraser. I wanted to take popular culture references whether it be singers, TV stars, government officials, or athletes to combine them
in compositions tying it back to the 60s and 70s.

If you noticed, there is another ICONS project.
This is the sister project of this app. ICONS magazine relates to this project in the sense that it handles, with care, the idea of iconic celebrities. Continuing the same collage type style, the editorial design links it to Icon Records.
